Padlet **WEEKLY TOP TIP**

You will need:

  • A log in to the website (simple and easy to set up)
  • To have a play and work out how to do it!

How it works:

Padlet is an Internet application that allows people to express their thoughts on a common topic easily. It works like an online sheet of paper where people can put any content (e.g. images, videos, documents, text) anywhere on the page, together with anyone, from any device.

You can set up a page for a class, let’s say Year 12 A Level. On this page, you can simply add informative news articles, TED Talks, useful web pages, YouTube videos and many more documents/ media. It is a fantastic tool for developing independent learning within your KS3 and KS4 classes and can be used to aid your pupils in completing their ’30 Hour Challenge’ in 6th Form.

It is possible to invite people to contribute to the site, which could be a great tool for your pupils to add things they find during their independent study which they think people might find interesting.

Have a go and see what you think. Go to www.padlet.com and sign up. It is a blank canvas, an empty wall needing covering with you AMAZING resources! If you have any problems or queries with the site, speak to Tracey Starkey or myself and we will aim to answer them!

Idea shared by TST. Amazing tool, thank you!
