This idea was shared in R. Morrison McGill in his book: ‘100 Ideas for Secondary School Teachers- Outstanding Lessons’

This idea helps to build resilience in a pupil. Teach pupils that failing is the best way to learn and progress. 

Michael Jordan famously said:

“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.”

Pupils are scared to fail. But this is one of the most important lessons we can learn. Let’s teach resilience though this simple acronym!
