Who am I? Activity

You will need
– List of statements. E.g. I am England, Scotland and Wales. I entered a team into the 2012 Olympics, I contain 3 major mountains: Snowdon, Scafell and Ben Nevis. I am in the West of Europe. ANSWER = Great Britain.

How It Works
This acts as a great starter! You as the teacher reads out the list of statements and pupils try to guess the country, object, sport etc. When pupils guess correctly, you can give them a score or a reward, completely up to you! Excellent game to test knowledge and a really fantastic revision tool! You could even set homework tasks to choose a topic create cards for each other!

Variations
– Pupils can come up with the statements.
– Start with difficult statements and lead on to HARDER ones to challenge all learners in the class
– Alternatively, offer points per question, decreasing the points each time a clue is given
